Bei dem Wettbewerb handelt es sich um ein ETU-A-Klasse-Turnier, also um die h\u00e4rtesten Wettbewerbe auf gesch\u00e4ftlicher Seite. Essi trat in zwei Serien an, in der Einzelserie f\u00fcr Frauen im Alter von 18\u201330 Jahren und in der Doppelserie mit Christian Kamphuis, ebenfalls in der Serie f\u00fcr Frauen im Alter von 18\u201330 Jahren. In der Einzelserie reichte Essis Leistung f\u00fcr den Einzug ins Finale und den f\u00fcnften Gesamtrang unter sechzehn Teilnehmern. In der Paarserie erreichten Essi und Christian den dritten Platz.
