The fitness level of the taekwondo athletes was just right in Eura<\/h2>\n

The first competitions of the autumn domestic competition season were organized on Saturday 24.9. in Eura. A total of 170 athletes fought for medals, and the team of Taekwondo athletes did get their own encouragement and a little bit from others as well.<\/p>\n

In the morning heats, Lauri Hulikkala, Aino Kortelainen and Sofia Sarala grabbed the first medals of the day, when Aino and Lauri won their series with stylish performances, and Sofia had to settle for bronze after a tight fight.<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, the league series were played, where the club was represented by Plum Kopisto, Luca Leskinen, Aino Kortelainen, Severi Sarala, Emilia Lahti and Hannes Tolonen. Plum had reason to smile after two quite overwhelming series wins. Aino and Emmi also grabbed the brightest medals in their respective categories. The others had to settle for bronze and silver, but the performances of the day were extremely positive. Severi, Luca and Hannes were really able to challenge their tough opponents, and if a few more things fall into place, they will also take home the wins.<\/p>\n

Coach Pauli Raivio was very satisfied with the team's performance. Everyone's legs seemed to be in good shape and the contestants exuded confidence. Let's go to the games in Porvoo and Vantaa with a bigger team to repeat the series victories and turn the silver and bronze into gold!<\/p>\n
