TU11's competitors had great success in the taekwondo championships. Teemu Heino (M +87), Petteri Kauppinen (-80 kg) and Juho Kostianen (-74 kg) took gold in their respective categories. Juho Ranta (M +87) took silver, losing the final to Teemu. Juho and Petteri won their final before full time thanks to the point difference.
The matches between Teemu and Juho and the other Juho were also seen on television.
Sofia Vassilaki took silver in her own series in the children's Noin 7 Veljestä cup, which was also held in connection with the SC Games.
