orvoo hosted the familiar opening race of the autumn season. Taekwondo athletes participated in the medal hunt with a total of 12 athletes in the match and 7 in the movement series. The coaches were Pauli, Bardia and Skavi.
It was clear from the opening warm-ups that today's fighters were full of energy and enthusiasm. In particular, they showed guts and fight in the tight matches, and turned them into victories at most crucial points. Some of the fighters were in their first main-contact series, but the performances were wonderfully unprejudiced and the big points were hunted down with determination.
The small team fought valiantly in the sports series, unfortunately this time the brightest medals were lost in many categories, although there were some glimmers of light.
Overall, the coaches were very happy with the team's performance at the Games. Now they have a few weeks to sharpen their skills before the next competition, the Ambassador's Cup. See you at the gym!
