Acrobatics-themed mini-camp June 26-27.

Our club's former athlete Havu Palviainen directs a small-scale acrobatics camp in the summer, the week after Midsummer, Tue-Wed 26.-27.6., both days at 15:30-17:00. The price of the camp is only €10, so the price is hardly an obstacle for anyone. The exercises are suitable for enthusiasts of all levels, although it is good to master basic physical skills.

Havu is currently studying circus in Turku and has been involved with acrobatics training for a long time, so there is sure to be versatile and professional guidance. Havu also has a strong background in taekwondo and sports; among other things, e.g. the 5th place in the sledding European Championships and the Nordic sledding championship in the match.

A great decision for the indoor league in the June indoor competitions

The best contestants of the season were awarded in the last competition of the indoor league

The taekwondo athletes' salikis league ended for the spring on Saturday 9 June. with the help of a rather small, but even more enthusiastic group of participants. The matches had a cheerful look and it was nice to watch open-minded action. I would have liked to have watched the matches longer while enjoying the delicious refreshments offered by the competition cafe.

At the end of the day, it was time to reward the best competitors of the season. Active participation in indoor competitions, cheerful and open-minded match attitude, the number of matches played and the number of points scored were the criteria used in the selections. There would have been several worthy of rewards among the train players, while the number of adult players was smaller. The authoritative jury therefore decided that the two best contestants from each of the women/girls and men/boys will be selected regardless of age. The awards went deservedly:

Best women/girls:

Emilia Lahti – TU11
Vanessa Vepsä – TU11

Best Men/Boys:

Väinö Pihlaja – Porvoo
Venne Viitaniemi – TU11

Best Judge:

Ali Lahti – TU11

Congratulations to the winners!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the spring league. The ride will continue again in the fall in the new training facilities at Ristipellontie 1A!

The prizes were offered by Pro Dobok Finland.
