Today in Lahti In the Junior Challenge Tanja Lovikka won gold in women's under 49 kg and Hilla Palviainen in women's under 67 kg. In addition, in the same tournament, Sophia Vassilaki took silver in the cadet girls under 44 kg category, however, the series did not have a SM value.
Tanja and Hilla took theirs in the championship series
Tanja took the victory in the final from Klaukkala's Johanna Niemis. The match was very tight and even the overtime ended in a draw. In the judges' vote, Tanja was considered better and the winning trophy was handed to her on her former home field. Hilla Palviainen was again completely superior in her own final, where Tampere's Susanna Solanti was a complete opponent.
Sophia in cadets
Sophia Vassilaki was in surprising difficulties with Loviisa's Emma Reiman and in the final came out on top with a point. Although things are right in the match, the 3-point performances were few and far between. So there will be enough to train in the hallways in a couple of weeks Porvoo for the League Championships and to the main event of the season, the SM tournament in Jyväskylä.
Autumn's main events in taekwondo just ahead
Even though the tournament had a championship value, it was mostly the opening of the domestic competition season. The biggest and most important tournaments are still ahead. In addition, our club's goal is to grow the team considerably in the future with our own growths.
Juho Ranta and Sampo Pajulampi acted as coaches in the tournament.

Finnish Taekwondo Association referee trainers Tatu Iivanainen and Ilkka Vikström taught on 15.9. in the judge training, nine new judge experiments for the secrets of the judge's work. In addition, in the afternoon, ten experienced judges especially updated their information From DaeDo.'s PSS system.
The TU11 trainees were Mikko Karjalainen and Janne Rita.
The taekwondo referee is a key factor in the match situation
A good referee enables an equal and safe match. A good referee also knows how to manage the match in such a way that the competitive event progresses smoothly and the match is meaningful to watch. For players, the referee of their own club is also an important source of information, as policies vary and the rules are refined every year. In addition, the referee sees the match from a slightly different perspective than the contestant himself, and can thus also give feedback for the contestant's development.
The Finnish Taekwondo Federation made a decision to centralize federation-led coaching in Turku. With this decision, the association no longer wants to support competition coaching in the capital region, so the operation of Training Center 1 will end immediately with this decision. However, TU11 is strongly committed to top taekwondo coaching in the capital region, and will continue daily coaching both in terms of matches and movement sets as before, now as a club activity.
Taekwondo skills for the benefit of enthusiasts
Although the practical operational changes are partly still to be decided, Taekwondo athletes 2011 aims for even better operations. Even though it is only the second year of operation, the club is already well among the 10 largest clubs in Finland, based on licenses. The area of activity of the society is Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and there are enthusiasts from all three of these cities, some even further afield, e.g. From Nurmijärvi. The club is also responsible for the organization of the league finals of this year's match of the association and expects good success from the coming competition season as well.
Taekwondo Lahti Ry organizes the third consecutive Prodo Camp match camp at Kamppailu-Areena on September 15, 2012, where versatile exercises are offered to junior competitors (AE Juniors). The theme of the camp this year is an imaginative and proactive match style.
