The match referee committee of the Finnish Taekwondo Association will organize a basic taekwondo match referee course on August 16-17, 2014 in Kisakallio, Lohja. The committee hopes that especially clubs that act as competition organizers and clubs that are actively involved in match activities would send their members to the course. The match activity is growing strongly and in order to increase the domestic competitions, we need more match referees. In addition, clubs that are heavily involved in match activities should invest in refereeing, because an active referee in their own club can offer a surprising tactical perspective on match coaching.
The match referee committee welcomes all interested enthusiasts who are at least 16 years old and have at least a 6th cup (or equivalent) belt rank to the course.
