Taekwondo athletes 2011 | Taekwondo | Helsinki | Espoo | VantaaSophia Vassilaki was selected to represent Finland at the Cadet World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, in the under-47kg girls category. The competitions will be held on July 24-27, 2014. The club congratulates Sophia for the representative position!

26 eager children and young people were able to practice taekwondo under the guidance of Paul and Tanja at the wondour players' summer camp. There were training sessions twice a day, and in them we delved into changing themes ranging from acrobatics to matches and from movement sequences to self-defense. Some of the riders got a fast-paced first contact with the sport. Between workouts, we spent time outdoors and excited about Kung-fu Panda's adventures. A tasty lunch was eaten at the lunch table of the cafe Corelli, and additional energy was refueled in the afternoon with a snack. Taekwondo athletes thank all campers.

Halfway through the year, Taekwondo athletes are by far the largest club in the Taekwondo League, measured by licenses. This is a nice transition to summer training and even small vacations in July.

In the summer from June 2 to August 9, 2014, we train according to the program below. The hall is closed from 7 to 20 July 2014.
The indoor competitions in May did not gather as many enthusiasts as those of the last months. However, the level of the matches was high, and in general, the development curve is clearly rising. The monthly gym competitions will continue again in the fall, but you can also spar during the summer.

Our society's traditional spring talks are traditionally held at the beginning of summer. The program includes a little renovation, enhancing places, socializing and good food.
After 17:00 in the evening, we serve talco drinks to the adults staying at the place.
