The board of the Finnish Taekwondo Association appointed Sampo Pajulamme as national team coach for the period 1 May to 31 December 2024.

Two consecutive G-level tournaments will be organized in Estonia, when the adult Tallin Open G1 will be held on April 25 and the President's Cup Europe G2 on April 26-28.

Chahrazed Boughrara (25.4), women -67 kg – 1st match number 208
Chahra won the opener clearly 2-0 against the Finnish opponent and the tournament continued with match number 221.
In the match, the representative of China was stronger 2-0.

Great fun and developing things to do in the summer

The super popular summer camp for taekwondo athletes will be organized this summer as well. The camp starts right after school ends and lasts the whole week. Camp days are therefore Monday-Friday, 3.-7.6.

The official program of the camp day is between 10 and 15:30, but you can be there under supervision from 9 to 17. 

Who is summer camp suitable for? 

The camp is suitable for all children aged 6-14, whether they have a hobby background or not. First-timers get to know the basics of taekwondo, while for the more experienced there are various additional challenges. 

What do we do at summer camp? 

Of course, taekwondo is practiced at the summer camp, but there is much more fun to be had in the camp days. In addition to two daily taekwondo trainings, the campers go outside, do crafts, play, play physical games, watch movies and above all have fun together. 

Who coaches at the summer camp? 

Professional trainers of Taekwondo athletes and the necessary number of assistant instructors act as coaches at the camp. 

What does the summer camp cost?

The price of the camp is €150. In addition to the camp, the price includes lunch and a snack in the afternoon. 

Where is the summer camp held 

The camp will be held at the Taekwondo athletes' hall at Ristipellontie 14, 00390, Helsinki. 

How do you register for the summer camp?

You can register directly by filling out the form below.

The next indoor competitions will be held on Friday 26.4. You can join without registration and the gym race is our free amateur race.

People outside the club are also welcome, and we ask for a cash or Mobile Pay donation to our coffee fund.

Indoor competitions belong to the training of all enthusiasts and are an important part of growing towards a black belt and beyond.

Indoor competitions are a mandatory part of training for those training with a competition contract, either as participants or as officials. We hope for a lot of participation!

May Day Eve 30.4. and on Labor Day 1.5. no exercises are held. Happy first of May!

Do you have small or useless taekwondo equipment in your closet? Now you can donate them to Senegal for the joy of children and young people. The collection box is located next to the counter and you can put intact and clean equipment and costumes there. The equipment collection will be carried out on April 21-26.
