The second open of taekwondo athletes gathered a nice crowd to try taekwondo.
In the draw, Marlo Hyytiäinen, Heidi Hiltunen and Iina Liukkonen won a free training month. Good luck to the winners!
Taekwondo athletes welcome all those who are interested in the sport to come and train, beginner groups have started, you can join at any time during the season.
At the beginning of September, TU11 took a big step forward when Pauli Raivio started as a paid coach and secretary in our club.
"Pauli's contribution has already been significant as an assistant director in our club before. When the workload has increased significantly as the club grows, we wanted to hire an employee to maintain the service level. Pauli was a natural choice, he has made an impression with his attitude and skills," states the club's vice president Sampo Pajulampi.

Junior Challange 2013 and A-juniors SM competitions
The match referee committee will organize on Saturday 7-8.9. match referee basic course in Tampere at Nääshalli (Näsijärvenkatu 8, 33230 Tampere). From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
The course provides the skills to act as a corner referee and, to a limited extent, as a center referee in domestic matches. Match referee C rights are granted to those who have satisfactorily completed the basic course, the related theory test and a display test in one of the autumn match competitions.
The price of the course is €100/participant. For the third and subsequent participants from the same club, 15 % discount on the course fee.

The club's instructors are there to talk about the sport, the club and training, so the answers to mind-boggling questions can be found in Helsinki's Konala, Ruosilankuja 3 C in a row on Saturday 31 August 2013 and 7 September 2013. The doors open at 10:00 and are open until four, longer if there are enough people interested. In the future, e.g. introductory training opportunities, competitions, raffle for training months, etc. And serving coffee and juice - of course!
There is no bad age to start taekwondo, the sport is suitable for everyone. Small children learn general physical skills, and with seniors we go at a calm, but still developing pace. For the young and enthusiastic, our club offers fast-paced training and learning to compete under the leadership of our country's most successful taekwondo athletes. In our club, there are many families, where both children of different ages and parents enthusiastically pursue their own goals. So don't worry, start taekwondo now!
