Spring day and Helsinki Open karonka 21.3.

The traditional spring day for taekwondo athletes takes place on Saturday 21.3. All fans of the club are welcome to the event at the Konala hall. The day consists of training, awards, lunch and fun. The adults continue in the evening with saunas.

Schedule:

9:45 – Day opening

10:00-11:30 – First training

11:30-13:00 – Lunch for everyone on behalf of the club. Rewards, information and program.

13:00-14:30 – Second training of the day

14:45-16:15 – Third training of the day

16:30- Adults continue in the sauna of the Töölö competition hall. Drinks and snacks are offered to the Helsinki Open and hall renovation crew.

The event is free of charge. Registrations at the hall's service desk.

Half-day training camp 28.12.

Come and hone your kicking technique in the Christmas break!

Taekwondo athletes take a break from actual training in the days between Christmas, but there is no need to completely stay in the corner of the sofa. On Sunday 28.12. namely, a training camp of three exercises will be organized, with the theme this year being kick combinations and special and skill kicks. The camp is suitable for everyone over the age of 8, from yellow belt upwards.

Plenty of medals for Taekwondo athletes

The team of taekwondo athletes collected a lot of positions from the Park Cup competition in Paraisi organized on 27.9. In general, the club's race times seemed to be in good shape right at the beginning of the fall, but there was still room for improvement. The next time we go to Porvoo for the medal hunt on October 10-11.

There is still room for a couple of enthusiasts in baby taekwondo

Good mood at the baby gym

In baby taekwondo, we get to know the latest training equipment..

On Monday, we happily practiced taekwondo with the babies again. During the training, muscles were strengthened, basic technique was reviewed, shoulders and back were taken care of, and above all - fun was had. The group can accommodate a couple of baby gymnasts to take care of their body holistically. There are still 12 practice sessions left. Welcome!

We sweated and had fun at Junnuje's summer camp

Guarantee26 eager children and young people were able to practice taekwondo under the guidance of Paul and Tanja at the wondour players' summer camp. There were training sessions twice a day, and in them we delved into changing themes ranging from acrobatics to matches and from movement sequences to self-defense. Some of the riders got a fast-paced first contact with the sport. Between workouts, we spent time outdoors and excited about Kung-fu Panda's adventures. A tasty lunch was eaten at the lunch table of the cafe Corelli, and additional energy was refueled in the afternoon with a snack. Taekwondo athletes thank all campers.

Junnu's summer camp is full

The summer camp aroused enthusiasm

The junnu summer camp organized in the first week of June has gathered registrations beyond expectations. There are already more than 20 names on the list, so additional registrations can no longer be accepted. However, if you have already managed to plan that week's expenses based on the summer camp, but have not yet registered, please contact the club's instructors either by email (info@taekwondourheilijat.fi) or on site at the gym.

Those who registered will receive more detailed information about the camp via email at the end of this week.

We trained and had fun at the ski holiday camp

Ski holiday camp:

Taekwondo athletes practiced diligently twice a day at the ski vacation camp during the entire ski vacation week. The most diligent campers stayed kicking even during the evening exercises. Between workouts, we went for a treat at the lunch table of the cafe Corelli downstairs. There was still enough snow to get down to Kannelmäki. In addition, on Thursday we went to Kanneltalo to watch a movie.
