Taekwondo athletes 2011 sharpen their teaching towards black belt

As the club's activities have developed, the upper belts responsible for the TU11 belt tests have remained in a very small role in the club's day-to-day operations. Our activities are and have been built on the reference framework of sports, and the teaching has been emphasized accordingly. Important, but less emphasized areas are rarely taught, and if the enthusiast does not go through all the exercises, until now it has been possible, with bad luck, to end up in the upper belt exams without having been taught the things required there at all. The focus of teaching and the skills required in the belt exams have not always completely coincided.

Due to this, TU11 will now start using seminar days preparing for the dan exams from autumn 2022. In the initial phase, almost all the essential content required for the belt exams is divided into two seminar days:

    1. Technology seminar
    2. Wrestling seminar

In these seminars, the purpose is to review all the essential content required for the TU11 black belt exams through various lectures, discussions and exercises. Both seminars will be organized in both autumn and spring seasons, and the seminars will be developed based on experiences and feedback.

In order to be able to participate in the black belt exams in the future, before each degree of black belt, you must participate in both a technique and a fighting seminar at least once during the year and a half preceding the belt exam. This ensures that no one gets to the black belt exam, so that clear competence gaps become apparent to the teachers only at the belt exam. It is of course recommended to attend both seminars more than once.
The program of the seminar days will be published separately, but the intention is that Saturday will be used for the seminar from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon, and the teaching will include both physical exercise and theory.

The seminars are for a fee, and all TU11 members from blue belt and 14 years of age and older can participate in them. The teaching is of a general nature and seminars can be marketed with these age and belt value restrictions to enthusiasts of other clubs as well. However, the emphasis is on the things that TU11's dan examinees are expected to know.

    Porvoo Open 2022

Saturday 15.10. TU11 competitors did their best at the Porvoo Open!

    Match

Out of the club's ten match competitors, Artin started the day wonderfully, winning gold in his series with two match wins. Artin was also awarded with the morning fighter spirit award.:trophy::muscle:
The remaining 9 competitors got into real action in the afternoon.

Milay Endah took match wins in singles and won his own series (C1-51kg). Emilia Uhlbäck, who competed in the same series, also did well and took bronze from the series at the end of two good matches.

Markus Liuko won his preliminary match and faced Peetu Hartikainen in the final. An entertaining final battle turned into a victory for Markus this time. I heard someone say that these boys really do move forward.

Luca Hip operates a series win not only in his own age group but also in a higher age group. After a wild day, Luca was also awarded as the best gambler of the day :muscle::trophy:

Noel Viitaniemi got a little change to his standard opponent repertoire this time and a really good one. In his match, Noel continued to show confident moves and bold decisions and won the gold despite the opposition's good eye for the game.

Vivian again, he didn't get too excited, but once again handled his race day work cheerfully and as usual in such a way that he left the burning mat with a gold medal around his neck as well.

Ken Anttila gave everyone a good show for the rest of the day when he filled the point gaps in both sets in his match, of course with difficult and fine techniques.

Isabella Anttila (D1 -30kg) fought like his brother, so that the point ceilings rattled. So also gold for Isbelle.

    Business series

Laura made a great return to the mats and Alex still got the Warrior Spirit award!

Chahrazed at the U21 European Championships

Chahrazed Boughrara will represent Finland in the taekwondo U21 EC competitions on September 29. in the tournament in Tirana, Albania.
You can watch the matches live: https://www.youtube.com/c/reStrikeIVR/playlists

Ukraine's Mariia Dumina was the first to face, but she had to settle for a place in the choir with a score of 2-0.

In the next match, Turkey's Isil Zafer was the stronger set 2-0. The tough Turk is a little better, but Chahrazed's grips were promising. Even though it's been a broken season, especially in terms of training conditions, Chahra was able to compete at a good level.

    The news is updated.
