Struggle seminar 5 November 2022

A day full of fighting for black belts and black belt aspiring taekwondo enthusiasts over the age of 14 and at least a blue belt.

In the seminar, the combat aspects of Taekwondo will be comprehensively reviewed:

• Step matches
• Self defense
• A competitive match

The teachers

The teacher in charge of the seminar is Teemu Heino, one of Finland's most successful taekwondo competitors, 6 dan, a four-time European Championship medalist. In addition to his sports career, Teemu has worked e.g. as a security guard, porter, and designed and directed various self-defense trainings.

09:00 – 10:30 Step matches
11:00 – 12:30 Self defense
Lunch break, own snacks.
During the meal / after the meal, a discussion about wrestling in general and the role of wrestling in taekwondo teaching.
13:30 – 15:00 A competitive match
15:00 – 15:30 Stretching / Q&A session
