Children (4-6 years) – Taekwondo for small children

Groups of 4-6 year olds practice twice a week. For young children, the main focus of training is on general motor skills and group skills. Taekwondo movements are also practiced in every practice.

Hourly description

In groups of young children, general motor skills and group skills are the focus of the teaching. Taekwondo techniques form part of the training package, where children's motor growth is supported and developed as versatile as possible. For example, kicking techniques force children to figure out their body position and develop body control and balance in a versatile way. Jumping and speed exercises, on the other hand, prepare the muscles for fast performances. Mobility training is also started from an early age. All exercises include physical play and games, which develop not only physical skills but also social skills and consideration for others. Each exercise also emphasizes the ability to focus on a single performance.
