Hilla Palvianen from Espoo's Hwarang Team represented Finland at the ongoing Youth European Championships in Pafos on Thursday (October 7). In the first round, he stepped against Danish Annika Grete Hvisthule, who had to be humiliated with 10-5 points. The beginning of the match was tentative, but when Hilla caught the plot, the game was clear. In the next round, Iceland's Ingibjorg Erla Gretarsdottir was better with a score of 15-0.
”Hilla on mennyt intensiivisen harjoittelun myötä viime kuukausina vahvasti eteenpäin. Toki maailman huipulle on vielä matkaa, mutta kun harjoitteluun sitoutuu vahvasti, kaikki on mahdollista.”, toteaa VK1:n valmentaja Sampo Pajulampi.
