Taekwondo license - permission to kick

The valid license period is 1.1.-31.12.2012

Everyone participating in the activities of the Finnish Taekwondo Association (camps, competitions, etc.) must have a license from the Finnish Taekwondo Association. All enthusiasts are also recommended to purchase Pohjola's accident insurance when acquiring a license. License insurance is a comprehensive and safe choice. In 2012, the insurance cover is more comprehensive than before, e.g. in terms of physical therapy.
Taekwondo athletes 2011 ry requires a sports license and insurance from all its enthusiasts who participate in events organized by the club, such as belt tests, indoor competitions, seminars, etc. The enthusiast must take care of his own insurance coverage, even if he does not obtain a license for some reason.

NOTE!
Taekwondourheilijat 2011 ry does not charge a separate membership fee, but you become a member of the club by buying a taekwondo license and marking Taekwondourheilijat 2011 as your club.

WHAT DO YOU GET WITH THE LICENSE AND WHAT KIND OF LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE?
Participation in most events of the Finnish Taekwondo Association requires a license. Licenses other than the one-time license automatically include the association's member magazine, mailed to your home four times a year. In addition, those who claim the license will receive a membership card with which you can get a discount of 10 % in the restaurants of the S chain (Amarillot, Fransmannit, Rossot). Licenses for children and young people automatically include full competition rights, adults must choose the most suitable license from the three options.

 1. Children's license for those born on or after January 1, 1998
The price is 30 euros or 40 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to free competition. The children's license is also intended for those practicing the ITF style.

2. Youth license for those born between 1 January 1993 and 31 December 1997
The price is 39 euros or 126 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to free competition.

3. Adult high school for those born on December 31, 1992 or earlier

a) hobby license
The price is 49 euros or 174 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to compete only in amateur series.

b) business series competition license
The price is 100 euros or 227 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to compete in official racing series for business series.

c) racing license
The price is 100 euros or 290 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to compete in official competition series for matches, movement series and crushing.

4. Single License

The price is 35 euros. This license is intended for participation in a one-time event of the Taekwondo Association (competitions, camps, etc.). The license is only valid for one, separately named event. The license does not include the Taekwondo magazine vintage. The user of the one-time license must himself ensure that sufficient insurance coverage is valid. The one-time license is valid for 10 days from the moment of payment.

5. Endorsement License

The price is 25 euros. This license is intended, for example, for family members of those who practice taekwondo or others who want to support the activities of the Taekwondo Association. In addition to the support membership card, the license also includes a subscription to the Taekwondo magazine mailed to your home.

HOW DOES THE PURCHASE OF A LICENSE TAKE PLACE?
1. License renewal. If you have previously paid a license fee, you will receive a renewal form at home. After checking the correctness of your information (address, phone number, etc.), you can pay the fee. You must always use the reference number when paying. If for some reason you do not receive an extension form, proceed as in obtaining a new license (below).

2. New license. Go to the online purchase of the license at https://sporttilisenssi.slu.fi/index.php?lid=5171  and follow the instructions. The link to purchase a license can also be found on the taekwondo association's website: www.taekwondo.fi

2. License Information
Check your personal information. Choose Taekwondo athletes 2011 as a club, and a license that suits you. NOTE! When buying a support license, select "Support license" as the company.

3. Acceptance
Check the information of your chosen license and familiarize yourself with Sporttiturva's product description and insurance conditions. The insurance terms must be accepted before proceeding to payment.

4. Payment
Pay either directly via the bank buttons or print/save the invoice. You must definitely use the reference number when paying!

You should choose a license at once so that it is enough for the whole season. E.G. if you were born on December 31, 1992 or earlier and you intend to compete in the adult league series during 2011, get an adult competition license.

HOW SHOULD YOU ACT IN THE SITUATION OF AN ACCIDENT?
In the event of an accident, the most important thing is to seek treatment quickly and save all expense vouchers related to the treatment of the accident. If the accident requires extensive/expensive treatments, you should check in advance with Pohjola ( www.pohjola.fi ) which treatment facility you should apply to.
