In December, new belt values were performed in all age groups
The beginning of December was a busy time for belt exams, when all age groups completed their new belt grades. The scale in terms of belt values was also large, with the emphasis, of course, on enthusiasts who started in the fall, and who now earned their ketai belt.
Vyökoerumba started with an adult exam on 7.12. Under the watchful eye of Juho Ranta. Special mention went to those enthusiasts who have actively gone to the hobbyists' movement series exercises to hone their technique. The training showed in the performances. The distribution of belts was too large for one test, but in the future adults will also pass their belts in separate tests in level groups.
Friday 8.12. There was only enough noise when Pauli Raivio supervised the test performances of the 4 level groups. There were so many yellow belt passers that they were divided into two separate tests according to age. In both groups, the general level and attitude were at an excellent level, and the hard training in the fall was clearly visible. In the spring, the groups move on to practice the first set of movements and refine the learned skills more and more. Those who completed higher belts also earned their belts with clean papers. It was already well past nine on Friday night when the red-belted guys showed off their crushing skills at the end of the test. However, the late date didn't bother me much, when a new belt value in a placard was able to leave the gym.
Wednesday 13.12. there was a smile in the tender groups of young children as the industrious ones performed the tiger and dragon signs. The children's enthusiasm and attitude did not go unnoticed by Petteri Kauppini and Mari Lapinsalo, who held the exam.
