The 2025 World Championships were held in mixed moods. In the business series the success was even better than expected, while in the match the flu took its toll on the team and the result was the weakest ever at the World Championships. Some of the team were left at the bottom of the bed and Peetu, for example, had to drop out of the competition, finishing silver in both of his series. The double championship was taken by Marita Jaakkola who also won the individual category together with Kirsimarja Raitasalo.
