At the taekwondo athletes match camp, approx. 40 trainers

TaekwondoKim Sinisalo and the instructors of TU11 got the enthusiasts going

The first workout was directed by Sampo Pajulampi and focused on movement and combining different techniques with it. In addition, hand-to-hand saves played a big role. Both kids and adults got themselves moving briskly in their own sessions.

In the second part, Kim Sinisalo directed a practice focused more on match situations. The new innovative exercises provoked thoughts and gave everyone a challenge.

The longest trip to the camp was made this time by Paimio's group of 5, led by their coach Mikko Yrjövuori. In addition, coaches from our own club were seen from Malmi, Riihimäki, Kerava, Vantaa, Espoo and Helsinki.

Kim Sinsialo as an instructor for the match camp

23.3. we train in top-level coaching, when Kim Sinisalo comes to direct the training of the match camp. During his taekwondo career, Kim has coached the Finnish national team and individuals, e.g. Teemu Heinoa, Juho Kostiai, Mari Lapinsaloa and many other top players in our country. In the Olympics, he represented our country as a coach twice. Today, he works as an advisor to our club and an independent taekwondo thinker in addition to his main job. Sinisalo is currently perhaps the most respected sports expert in our country and the most sought-after instructor at camps. Camp trips and coaching consultations accumulate almost every weekend around the country. So now there is real excellence available in our own gym!

On a spring day, we enjoyed the program and pea soup

About 40 enthusiastic taekwondo athletes who participated in the society's spring day got a dose of taekwondo on 10.3. on an organized spring day. Two training sessions, rewards, Introducing Invictus, information about the club's activities and the evening program guaranteed a content-rich Saturday.

TU11 awarded its most meritorious trainers of the year at the event. The awards were handed out by chairman Teemu Heino:

Fan of 2012: Jaakko Saha
Contestant of 2012: Hilla Palviainen

The children's parents were also able to participate in the afternoon training, when I trained with Petteri Kauppinen's fun general exercises and, of course, a bit of sport as well.
