Taekwondourheilijoiden vyökokeet pidettiin viimeviikolla. Vyökokeet otti vastaan Pauli Raivio: ”Vaikka nämä kevään välivyökokeet ovat aina vähän tavallista pienempiä, oli taso jälleen kiitettävä”.

We are facing something new again. Ristipellontie 1 has been sold and that's how we're moving to new premises. Moving is both an opportunity and a challenge.
New facilities
Our new gym is located at Ristipellontien 14. We will be able to use more and better training space. The premises are divided between the operators by concrete walls, so the premises are also much quieter. The new premises enable developing services, more flexible space arrangements and the already mentioned better training peace.
We will organize a viewing in the new premises in the next few weeks.
Renovation is also known
The new premises are in good condition, but of course some repairs and renovations are needed. In the summer, we organize some talkoo days, when everyone is welcome to help. If you can't make it yourself, see below how you can support the club financially.
Schedule
The move will take place in July and from the beginning of August we will practice in the new premises. We are keeping this year's summer vacation a week longer. The summer break will therefore be held from 11 to 31 July. Summer practices are organized in areas 2 and 3. Moving and construction and demolition work may cause minor disruptions to practices throughout the summer.
Help with a moving project
We offer several ways to help with the change:
1. Work in the gym
We organize several talk days where you can help make our training facilities as good as possible. These will be announced closer to the talk days. You can indicate your willingness in advance by filling out the form below.
2. Material assistance
We need many kinds of stuff in the move and in the new gym. We need e.g. transport equipment, tools and construction materials. Also the discounts They help with needs. Be in touch sampo@tu11.fi.main.hoste.fi or fill out the form below.
3. Direct financial assistance
You can support the project financially by acquiring a support membership. Those who have a training contract can pay their next training fee for 12 months or 24 months. Indicate your desire to pay for a longer period by filling out the form below.
4. Talk outside the hall
If you want to do some work for the club's fundraising, we offer the opportunity to assemble a group that will do work selling refreshments at festivals. Get a group together and stay connected sampo@tu11.fi.main.hoste.fi or fill out the form below.

Taekwondo athletes 2011 condemns Russia's attack on the independent state and people of Ukraine. At the same time, we want to emphasize that people from many different backgrounds train at our gym. All people, regardless of background, ethnicity, religion, political views or sexual orientation, are welcome to train together, if they accept our value and the right of others to participate in the activity. That's why we emphasize that even in the prevailing situation, both our Ukrainian and Russian enthusiasts are equally welcome to train in our gym.
World Taekwondo announcement:
World Taekwondo strongly condemns the brutal attacks on innocent lives in Ukraine, which go against the World Taekwondo vision of "Peace is More Precious than Triumph" and the World Taekwondo values of respect and tolerance.
In this regard, World Taekwondo has decided to withdraw the Honorary 9th dan black belt conferred to Mr. Vladimir Putin in November 2013.
In solidarity with the International Olympic Committee, no Russian or Belarusian national flags or anthems will be displayed or played at World Taekwondo events. World Taekwondo and the European Taekwondo Union will not organize or recognize Taekwondo events in Russia and Belarus.
World Taekwondo's thoughts are with the people of Ukraine and we hope for a peaceful and immediate end to this war.

Also have cash for coffee and mochas, as there is a small coffee shop on site.
