Gold and silver from the EC championships in business series!

The EC championships for business series took place in Seixal, Protugal, on November 18-21. Aino Kortelainen, Sofia Sarala and Airada Heikkinen (Kuopio) brought gold in the cadet girls' group series. Christian Kamphuis brought silver together with Frans Salmi (Turku) and Olli Siltanen (Turku) from the U30 group series.

On the final day of the competition, the Portuguese sun smiled on the Finns and especially the taekwondo athletes, when Aino Kortelainen, Sofia Sarala and Airada Heikkinen (Kuopio) brought gold in the cadet girls' group series. Christian Kamphuis took silver together with Olli Siltanen and Frans Salme from Turku in the U30 group series.

Taekwondo athletes are represented by Christian Kamphuis, Aino Kortelainen and Sofia Sarala. Christian participated in the adult freestyle series (ranking 7th) and the U30 group series. Aino participated in the cadet girls' individual series (ranking 8th) and the cadet girls' group series. Sofia also participated in the cadet doubles series together with Lassi Kaasinen (Herttoniemi) (ranking 6th).
