Top coaching available to everyone

Taekwondo | Match, Competition, Training | Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa

About a week ago Finnish Taekwondo Federation decided to close the coaching centers retroactively from the beginning of September. Although the situation came as a bit of a surprise, the plans to continue operations have progressed well. The end of the competition training supported by the association in Helsinki gives taekwondo athletes a new opportunity to share top taekwondo instruction with all taekwondo enthusiasts, regardless of their home club. From Monday (September 24, 2012), match and movement series training will start for fans of all clubs with the old practice times, but with a new system. The purpose is to share the excellence of the sport to both beginner competitors and those aiming for the top of the world.

Taekwondo match by theme

In order for the athletes who train with different training programs in different clubs to get more out of the taekwondo athletes' match training, the training days will be themed in the future. In this way, it is easier to fit individual training programs into high-quality joint training. At the same time, casual visitors know what to expect each day.

On Mondays, the emphasis is on technique and tactics, Wednesday's training focuses on pair training, on Thursday there will be sparring training, and on Friday, technique and sport physics. You can also find the theming from the group photo of the competition team. All taekwondo players who have at least a 7th kup belt rank and invest in developing their match skills are welcome to the match practice. You can find the training prices From the price list.

They are responsible for the coaching of TU11's match group

- Multiple taekwondo EC medalist Teemu Heino
– European Ranking 1st and four-time ETU A-class winner Juho Kostiainen
- Two-time Olympic coach and Finnish sport analysis pioneer Kim Sinisalo
- Olympic team physiotherapist Juho Ranta, with special responsibility for muscle maintenance and maintenance exercises
– Sampo Pajulampi, trainer and coordinator of the Project 2012 group
– Finnish champion and active competitor Pauli Raivio

The movement series group also continues in the Taekwondo athletes' hall

Business series competitors will continue to receive high-quality instruction at TU11's gym. Petteri Kauppinen, the Finnish champion of both the movement series and the match, and nationally respected teacher, is the coach of the group. Petteri has divided the training into four areas (kicks, hand techniques, positions & movement and execution of the whole), which by systematically practicing you will get better and better results.

Regardless of home club, all taekwondo players with at least a 6th cup belt rank and who already know the ins and outs of their own league are welcome to join the business series competition group.

Welcome to play sports!

Volunteers for the culmination of the taekwondo league

Attention! Just you!

Taekwondo | League Finals 2012TU11 organizes the Otteluliiga final competition on November 17, 2012 in Helsinki's Ruskeasuo sports hall. The event is organized together with the Helsinki Taekwondo Club, which is responsible for the league finals of the movement series competitions.

Come and do and experience top taekwondo

Organizing competitions is rewarding, but it requires a lot of work, so volunteers are needed. A poorly taped list has appeared on the wall of TU11's hall (on the bulletin board wall at the end of the front door), on which you can write your name and express your willingness to help with the competition arrangements. No special skills are required, but everyone will surely find something to do. However, if you have, for example, first aid training, orderly card, etc., then mention it.

Voit toki ilmoittaa halukkuutesi myös sähköpostilla osoitteeseen: info@tu11.fi
A busy, but interesting and fun day ahead!

Taekwondo judges being trained at our gym

Taekwondo
Tatu Iivanainen teaching hand signs

Finnish Taekwondo Association referee trainers Tatu Iivanainen and Ilkka Vikström taught on 15.9. in the judge training, nine new judge experiments for the secrets of the judge's work. In addition, in the afternoon, ten experienced judges especially updated their information From DaeDo.'s PSS system.

The TU11 trainees were Mikko Karjalainen and Janne Rita.

The taekwondo referee is a key factor in the match situation

A good referee enables an equal and safe match. A good referee also knows how to manage the match in such a way that the competitive event progresses smoothly and the match is meaningful to watch. For players, the referee of their own club is also an important source of information, as policies vary and the rules are refined every year. In addition, the referee sees the match from a slightly different perspective than the contestant himself, and can thus also give feedback for the contestant's development.

Taekwondo athletes increase their competitive training

taekwondo tu11 taekwondo athletes 2011The Finnish Taekwondo Federation made a decision to centralize federation-led coaching in Turku. With this decision, the association no longer wants to support competition coaching in the capital region, so the operation of Training Center 1 will end immediately with this decision. However, TU11 is strongly committed to top taekwondo coaching in the capital region, and will continue daily coaching both in terms of matches and movement sets as before, now as a club activity.

Taekwondo skills for the benefit of enthusiasts

Although the practical operational changes are partly still to be decided, Taekwondo athletes 2011 aims for even better operations. Even though it is only the second year of operation, the club is already well among the 10 largest clubs in Finland, based on licenses. The area of activity of the society is Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and there are enthusiasts from all three of these cities, some even further afield, e.g. From Nurmijärvi. The club is also responsible for the organization of the league finals of this year's match of the association and expects good success from the coming competition season as well.
