That is why we ask our enthusiasts to participate in the distribution of advertisements. Ads are available at the counter from Monday.

Match coaching is being renewed for Taekwondo athletes

Taekwondo athletes' match training will be renewed during the fall of 2015. Match action is divided into two groups. The reason is that some of the athletes train at such a hard level that the content of the exercises becomes very demanding. In addition, the training of elite athletes cannot always take into account the needs of developing athletes, as coaches focus on the elite.

The needs of talented and amateur athletes are taken care of within the framework of the Invictus program. In addition, an Elite group will be established for athletes of the international competition level of their own age group. The limit is not absolute and athletes can move flexibly from one group to another according to the coaches' instructions.

Invictus

Developing talents and amateur athletes train at Invictus. The instructors of our own basic enthusiast group actively guide enthusiasts to the Invictus group. The goal is to learn the basic skills of the match and deepen their control. Tactics and maneuvering also play an important role in training.

The final goal of the group is individual for everyone. The first step is to participate in competitions and then raise the competition series all the way to domestic league competitions and international competitions.

Invictus group participants pay the race group fee. The club wants to inspire people to join the competition in such a way that every time they complete the color belt (8th, 4th, 6th and 2nd kup) they get a free coupon for Invictus training.

Pauli and Sampo are responsible for the group's activities, and you can ask them for more information.

Elite

The elite athletes are those who already have evidence from competitions in their own age group and goals in prestigious competitions in their own age group. Exercise programs are individual and commitment to them is essential. Invited athletes can participate in the group's exercises.

August belt exams

The first belt exams of the autumn season right away in August

It is possible to increase the belt value right at the beginning of the autumn season. The exams are organized as usual as follows:

Juniors aged 7-14 – Tue 18.8.

  • at 17:00-18:00 – Yellow and green ribbon finishers (8.-7.+ cup.)
  • at 18:00-19:30 – From the green belt upwards (6.- kup)

Adults – Thu 20.8.

  • from 18:30 to 20:30

Note 3-6. year-olds don't have a belt exam yet in August.

You can take the belt test after collecting enough training marks and knowing belt-level techniques (techniques used in training). The instructors calculate the training times based on the enthusiasts' own training logs and check the candidates who pass the tests from their groups. These enthusiasts will be sent a separate e-mail and told during the exercises. Those who have received an e-mail can register for the exam by replying to the mail or to their instructor in the hall. You can check the price lists for belt tests from here.

A good way to collect the last missing training entries is to participate in the one organized on August 10-14 to the intensive camp.

Talks improve the comfort of the hall

A clean and functional gym is an important factor in training. In the spring, we renovated the hall and now we are finishing the project. In addition, we are making some minor changes that have been found necessary. Welcome to help!

On both days, we start at ten and hustle until the hustle and bustle is over. Coffee, juices and snacks are provided for the workers.
