Taekwondo athletes' events at the beginning of the year

Information for the beginning of the year for taekwondo athletes

Happy new year to all fans of the club! Training has started again in January in Konala with the same schedule as in the fall. The group divisions have not changed either. If you currently do not know in which group you should train, contact the instructors. In Tapiola, there have been some minor changes to training times and groups, which you should check on the website on the Tapiola subpage.

As spring rolls around, the events of Taekwondo athletes as well as other clubs and federations start to become more frequent. The most important spring events have been compiled in this newsletter, but you should also keep an eye on the news releases on our website and subscribe to the newsletter if you haven't done so yet. It is also worth checking the event calendar of the Finnish Taekwondo Association from time to time. Participation in the association's events and Taekwondo athletes' belt exams requires the possession of the association's sport license. So if the license is still missing for this year, I'll go to the website of the Taekwondo Association to order it.

Have a really good and fast-paced year!

Now is the time to get your license!

EVERYONE WHO PRACTICES TAEKWONDO SHOULD BUY A LICENSE

Everyone participating in the activities of the Taekwondo Association (camps, competitions, etc.) must have a sports license.  Taekwondo athletes 2011 require a valid license from all participants in the belt exams. All enthusiasts are also recommended to purchase Pohjola's accident insurance when acquiring a license. License insurance is a comprehensive and safe choice. However, if you already have insurance that covers martial arts, you should get a license without Pohjola's insurance.

Even if you don't practice taekwondo, but you want to support Finnish taekwondo, you can get a support license.

WHAT DO YOU GET WITH A LICENSE?

Participation in all events of the Finnish Taekwondo Association requires a license. Licenses other than the one-time license automatically include the association's member magazine, mailed to your home four times a year. In addition, those who have redeemed the license will receive a membership card with which you can get a discount of 10 % in the restaurants of the S chain (Amarillot, Fransmannit, Rossot). Licenses include the right to compete. The support license requires a magazine published by the association and a support license card.

WHAT KIND OF LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE?

1. Children's license for those born on or after January 1, 2001

The price is 15 euros or 25 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to free competition. The children's license is also intended for those practicing the ITF style.

2. Youth license for those born between 1 January 1994 and 31 December 2000

The price is 35 euros or 70 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.

The license includes the right to free competition. The youth license is also intended for those practicing the ITF style.

3. Adult high school for those born on December 31, 1993 or earlier

a) Adult license

The price is 59 euros or 184 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.

The license includes the right to compete in both styles, in all series and competition formats.

b) Adult ITF licence
The price is 59 euros or 149 euros with Pohjola accident insurance.
The license includes the right to compete in ITF competitions.

NOTE! One license is enough for participants in both style competitions (insurance should be a more expensive option).

4. Single License

The price is 35 euros or 55 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance,
This license is intended for participation in a one-time event of the Taekwondo Association (competitions, camps, etc.). The license is only valid for one, separately named event. The license does not include the Taekwondo magazine vintage. The one-time license is valid for 10 days from the moment of payment.

5. Endorsement License

The price is 25 euros.
This license is intended, for example, for family members of those who practice taekwondo or others who want to support the activities of the Taekwondo Association. In addition to the support membership card, the license also includes a subscription to the Taekwondo magazine mailed to your home.

HOW DOES THE PURCHASE OF A LICENSE TAKE PLACE?

1. License renewal and new license. Go to the online purchase of the license FROM HERE and follow the instructions:

  1. Personal information
Fill in your personal information on the form.
  2. License information
Tarkista henkilötietosi. Valitse sitten oma seurasi ja itsellesi soveltuva lisenssi. HUOM! Kannatuslisenssiä ostaessasi valitse seuraksi ”Kannatuslisenssi”.
  3. Adoption
Check the information of your chosen license and familiarize yourself with Sporttiturva's product description and insurance conditions. The insurance terms must be accepted before proceeding to payment.
  4. Payment
Pay either directly via the bank buttons or print/save the invoice. You must definitely use the reference number when paying!

You should choose a license at once so that it is enough for the whole season. For changing the license in the middle of the season, we charge an exchange fee of 10 euros:

In licensing matters
You will be helped Tiiu Tuomi, tel. 09 3481 2505.

HOW SHOULD YOU ACT IN THE SITUATION OF AN ACCIDENT?

In the event of an accident, the most important thing is to seek treatment quickly and save all expense vouchers related to the treatment of the accident. If the accident requires extensive/expensive treatment, you should check with Pohjola in advance which treatment facility you should go to (Pohjola treatment facility contracts).
