Hilla Palvianen from Espoo's Hwarang Team represented Finland at the ongoing Youth European Championships in Pafos on Thursday (October 7). In the first round, he stepped against Danish Annika Grete Hvisthule, who had to be humiliated with 10-5 points. The beginning of the match was tentative, but when Hilla caught the plot, the game was clear. In the next round, Iceland's Ingibjorg Erla Gretarsdottir was better with a score of 15-0.
"Through intensive training, Hilla has made strong progress in recent months. Of course, there is still a long way to go to the top of the world, but when you have a strong commitment to training, everything is possible," says VK1 coach Sampo Pajulampi.
