Early autumn events and dates
SEPTEMBER GALL COMPETITIONS
- As usual, the first indoor competitions of autumn are organized on the last Friday of the current month 25.9.
- Under-14s start at 5:00 p.m., cadets, B-juniors and adults at 7:00 p.m. If the cadets wish, they can start earlier with junior enthusiasts, if there are pairs of suitable size and level in the group.
- We strongly recommend buying your own training protections from the gym's equipment store. If necessary, you can borrow protection from the club in indoor competitions, but the correct size and quality are not guaranteed.
- NOTE! The elementary group of 7-14-year-olds does not have actual exercises on the day of the indoor competition. However, they can participate in the common warm-up part of indoor competitions and participate as a spectator. In the future, group members can participate in indoor competitions themselves
- NOTE! The exercises for 3-6-year-olds have been combined into one group that practices from 17:00 to 18:00. The group then also has a playful competition day where they compete in various general physical skills.
OCTOBER BELT EXAMS
- 3-6 year olds: Wed 14.10.
- 7-14 year olds: Tue 13.10.
- Adults: Thu 15.10.
- More precise times and group divisions will be published closer to the exam
- Getting to the belt exam requires, depending on the belt rank, a sufficient number of exercises and training months from the previous belt exam. Instructors check the number of visits based on the hall's bar code registrations. All participants in the belt test will be sent a confirmation e-mail about their participation in the test. The list can also be seen at the instructor's desk in the hall about a week before the exam.
- A sports license from the Finnish Taekwondo Association is required for all participants in the test
PORVOO OPEN, LEAGUE COMPETITION AND JUNIOR AND ENTHUSIAST SERIES
- The first league competition of the autumn season takes place in Porvoo 10.10.
- Taekwondo athletes encourage at least all those who train in competition groups and are strong in indoor competitions to participate in competitions. Trainees in other groups can ask their instructor if participation is possible.
- The last day of registration is 4.10. Registrations at info@tu11.fi.

Jarmo J. Soila is gone
Jarmo J. Soila was a key Finnish taekwondo influencer who served on the boards of both WTF and ETU, as chairman of the Finnish Taekwondo Association and honorary chairman of Finland, as well as in numerous other positions of trust in the sport.
The Finnish State Sports Council awarded Soila a cross of merit for his work for sports.
Haluan esitää omat surunvalitteluni Jarmon omaisille.”, jatkaa seuran varapuheenjohtaja Sampo Pajulampi.
Taekwondo athletes want to share in the grief of the relatives of Jarmo J. Soila.
