Five series wins from the final race of the season
The 2018 competition season got its worthy decision in Eura, when the league finals of the match sealed the league championships and in the Eura Cup, enthusiasts and business series competitors measured each other. The taekwondo athletes were in traffic with a small, but even more energetic team.
One of the biggest bright spots of the day was Lauri, who once again met in the opening Plum's. This time the steady twist turned in Lauri's favor and the pace seemed to pick up as we went to the final. The match was perfect because of Lauri's performance, as the points clicked one after the other to Lauri's account. Now the self-confidence was right! In cadet boys, Plum also won silver and bronze in pairs with EHT's Mia Knutsson.
Also To Chaimaan the legs were in good shape and the tactics worked in both matches, even though the opponents were one age group higher. It bodes well for the cadet EC competitions to be held in a week. Chahrazed stylized in his own series for a clear victory with a striking match style, which was not lacking in back spins and strong kick combinations.
The series of small CDs were Jenny's and Iine's from the screen. Jenny worked hard again in two series and achieved a great victory in the cadets -33kg series. In an even higher series, Jenny cleared her way to the final, where Iines was waiting for her. The fight was, as usual, even, but Iines pulled out a longer shot in the end.
With Emmi there was a nice flow in the legs in the first match and when the places were found, the points clicked home with an excellent percentage. There wasn't quite as much momentum in the final, even though the crunch at the end was a great demonstration of how to dig for points even with slightly tired legs. However, I was satisfied with silver. Respectively Janika showed strong performances in his first match, but had to leave the next due to an eye injury. Also Bard had to stop his match due to an injury, but in Bardia's typical ferocious cheering attitude and hunger for training, he was visible again as soon as he returned from the trip to the emergency room.
Congratulations to the medalists of the day!
