The results of the customer survey help in the development of the club

To support the development proposals of taekwondo athletes, a customer survey was carried out between January and February. There were 40 respondents to the survey. 84 of the respondents have been involved in % for more than a year. Thank you very much for the answers! The answers help to develop our club's activities going forward.

Based on the answers, parents would like that 3–6 y.o. could be divided into 3–4 and 5–6-year-olds due to the fact that the children may be in very different stages of physical and psychological development despite their small age difference. Group 3–6 years old. internal differences will be taken into account in the future, but sharing is difficult with the current space and instructor resources. Another wish for training groups is family training. Family training is being planned, but the start time is in the fall at the earliest. Those interested in family training, contact the instructors.

In the answers, it was hoped to increase hand techniques and pooms training, as well as to refine the technique and increase the number of repetitions. Another wish is that the belt test requirements would be explained concretely and reviewed well in advance of the belt test. The training of basic techniques and pooms is enhanced by specifying training programs and making a more detailed training program available to instructors. In addition, the aim is to offer enthusiasts separate business series camps. The belt test requirements will be published in the near future, and passing them will also increase by sharpening the training programs.

We hope for more cleanliness and spaciousness in the hall. Many of the respondents also wish for additional space separately for warm-up/stretching/gym, which would make it easier to move around the gym during shift changes. Practice facilities are also scarce, especially in the elementary group of 7–10-year-olds and adults. In order to improve the volume and cleanliness of the hall, new shoe racks and a rug to keep the gravel away will be purchased. We are aware of the scarcity of training space and we are actively working to fix it.

According to the respondents, the products for sale and their prices could also be better displayed. The directors' general level of knowledge about the daily affairs of the club was criticized and it was stated that no one always seems to have accurate information. Information is being systematically improved and the renovation of the sales counter is planned.

Overall, in many areas and open answers, it has become clear that the respondents think the club is sporty and has a high-quality image, from the home page to the training sessions. The instructors have strong expertise and they know what they are doing, the workouts are of high quality and versatile. According to the respondents, the society has an open and humorous atmosphere. It is easy for new enthusiasts to join the club and older enthusiasts welcome new enthusiasts with an open mind. Of the respondents, 100 % somewhat or completely agree that the club has a good atmosphere. In the club, there is no pointless "army-annoyance" and "big-belted scrounging", but still a certain level of authority of the instructors has been maintained. The club received an overall rating of 4.4 (on a scale of 1–5).

Some of the respondents hoped for more opportunities to participate in the development of the club's activities and signed up as volunteers to help in the club's activities. If you are excited to participate in the club's activities or if you have any development ideas, skills or contacts, please come and talk to the instructors.

10 product prizes were drawn among those who responded to the survey. In the draw, luck favored the following people: Markus Mustila won the 10 card, shorts Konni Zilliacus, Kati Ikonen and Samuel Penttilä and caps Vesa Suomalainen, Matti Puromäki, Leila Kinnari, Mari Havakka, Jouni Koivisto, and Kim Cederlöf. Taekwondo athletes congratulate the winners of the draw!
