Multiplication of movement sequences 6.6.

Taekwondo exercises will continue in the gym on June 1. and there are plenty of exercises for all groups to choose from. Of course, in all training, safety comes first. Read more >>

It is completely understandable that during the last few months the training may have been less and especially the movement sets may need reminiscing. Some of the enthusiasts who have time to pay for the March belt exams also have a replacement exam in the second week of June, which may also cause a few extra spots in terms of movement sets.

We promised to organize free events in the summer for enthusiasts who paid their training fees even when the gym was closed. This poomsa camp is the first of these camps and more will follow later.

If your contract has not been valid, you can still participate in the camp for €25 or €10/practice.

The professional athletes had a great success in the 1st Daedo Open European Poomsae Championships

Christian, Aino, Alex, and Sofia showed their skills in the online business series competition organized by Daedo, which gathered more than 1000 participants from different parts of the world. The judges had a full job to evaluate the performances for no less than 7 days.

All Taekwondo athletes advanced in their series to the semi-finals, which is a hard performance in itself considering that, for example, there were well over a hundred participants in the cadet girls.

Aino finished in tenth place, being the best European in his series. The final place was a few hundredths of a point away. Sofia's final ranking in the series is 47, but it's especially worth looking at the points of the first round, where Sofia stylishly won more than seven, advancing to the semifinals in sixth place in her group. In cadet boys, Alex finished 24th.

In the men's under-30 series, Christian also progressed stylishly from the preliminary rounds to the next round, but the road was cut off in a tough series in the semifinals and the final ranking was 28th.

On Sunday, we can still be excited by the performances of Budokwa's Frans Salme and Wondo's Johanna Nukar and Juho Metsälä, who advanced to the finals.

In February, the same power team competed in Sweden.

Congratulations to everyone for their wonderful performances and good luck to the Finns until the final day!

The Liikesari team is in a great mood again

The second competition of the business series league took place in Pori

The poomsae team of taekwondo athletes reaped success again in the competition of the Pori poomsaeliiga on Saturday, April 7. A lot of medals were collected in each color, some from the individual series and some from the pair and group series. It is a pleasure to watch not only the work of your own team, but also the seamless cooperation of couples and teams that cross club boundaries.

Laura had quite a busy day in Pori when, in addition to her own three series, she also worked with Ville in the coaching job. Laura comfortably collected all the medals. Even the brighter medals of the individual series were only behind by a small point difference. With her confident performance, Plum stomped to the silver medal in the cadet boys category, with Alex following right behind in third place. A little additional adjustment still to be made, so the highest prize place is looming! In the cadet girls' series, there is no shortage of Taekwondo athletes when Vickan, Bella, Sara and Sofia decided with the other contestants their mutual superiority. This time, Bella had reason to smile the biggest with a bronze medal around her neck, while the other girls followed in the rankings right next. Elina finished fourth in the hard-level U30 women.

Coaches Ville and Laura had enough positive feedback about the team's mood. Of course, training the accuracy of the techniques and the certainty of performance must be continued more and more purposefully so that the small margins can be turned to your advantage more and more regularly. The best thing is that the team spirit and attitude are at their peak and working together is fun, whether it's a competition or training in your own gym!
