The first indoor competitions of the year are exciting

taekwondoChildren trying out the competition

At the taekwondo athletes' indoor competitions on February 12, 2013, there was once again a good spirit of action. There were about 25 matches for the under-15s, and match after match, there were really good starts for the players. Most of the contestants were members of their own club, but there were also a few guest stars.

A taekwondo match is also suitable for adults

After the children, it was the turn of the adults. There could have been more adults, but fifteen adult matches were still enough to offer even adults the amount of sweat and bruises they wanted. Enthusiastic competitors arrived from clubs in the surrounding area, and some of our own were also involved. There were many paces in the adult matches, but everyone was able to show their skills at their own level. Next time, everyone who missed out now will join!

Taekwondo athletes would like to thank all the competitors, judges and officials who participated!

The next gym competition will take place on March 5, 2012. Welcome!

Papula-Nevinpat supports Sophia on her way to success

Papula-Nevinpat

Papula-Nevinpat is one of Finland's largest and best-known patent, trademark and design offices. It was founded by patent attorney Antti Papula in Helsinki in 1975. He was an open-minded visionary who even then saw the increasing need for services related to industrial rights and the future change of the industry, as well as the huge IPR business opportunities that would arise with the dissolution of the Soviet Union. He boldly set out to build a company whose guiding star in all activities is the customer's interest. This work has been successfully continued and today Papula-Nevinpat is an internationally respected Finnish specialist company. A handsome medal haul from Nurmijärvi for taekwondo athletes

taekwondo helsinki espo vantaa
Eddie, Megii and Luca in a group photo.

The team of taekwondo athletes mainly consisted of athletes representing our club for the first time. The tournament saw great openings from the representatives of our club. The more experienced Jaakko Saha and Megii Moullaev and the first-timer Eddie Quinones were the most successful. Especially Megii and Eddie progressed match by match. Jaakko only met his winner in the final. Jaako's rapid development and impressive main hits aroused wonder in the audience.

The Leskinen family consisted of father Sami and son Luca. Both were in their first matches and both fought well.

Sisu and Kasper moved to represent our club at the beginning of the year and competed in advanced D-juniors. Both have great physique and a lot of skill, but there is still work to be done in match performance. The bar should be set reasonably high, because both have prerequisites for anything. The coaches are Sampo Pajulampi, Teemu Heino and Juho Kostiainen.

This is good to continue to the spring league games.
