We celebrate the club's first spring day on Saturday, March 9. The program includes a nice activity together and in the evening we go to the sauna. The event is intended for all hobbyists in our company and their family members. The evening program is intended for adults only.

Program

11.00-12.30 Training for enthusiasts

12:30-2:30 PM Lunch and information session for enthusiasts and family members of enthusiasts

14:30-16:00 Training for enthusiasts and family members of enthusiasts

17:30 Sauna at Töölö Kisahalli, snacks

As a thank you to the 2012 league finals, we offer sauna drinks in connection with the sauna!

The first exercise is intended for all those practicing the sport in our club. There will be a little more special training in the morning, as well as a lighter, playful training aimed at everyone, for all companions and their family members.

There is a list at the hall's service desk that you can sign up for. This is how we ensure that there is enough food for everyone. Mark the number of participants in your family, the participants in the evening program, and the participants in the evening program who took part in the League Final talks, separately on the list.

Budo Nord Open in Loviisa on March 16, 2013

taekwondo LoviisaLoviisa Taekwondo Hwang ry organizes a competition of the Finnish Taekwondo Association's match league. There are also amateur, junior and senior series.

Taekwondo athletes go to the tournament with as large a team as possible. You can register with your instructor by March 7, 2012. To register, you need the following information:

First name, last name, sport ID, date of birth, series, level, weight

There is a scale in the gym and instructors advise on choosing a series.

Costs

The participation fees are as follows

E, D2, D1, C2, C1 and B2 juniors €30

Hobbyist series H, S30 and S40 €30

Match leagues, R1, B1 €40

In addition, you must reserve €15 in gas money and spending money for race day.

If you are going to the event in your own car, let us know that too, and we can arrange rides for everyone.

Hall competition for taekwondo athletes 5.3.

Tuesday 5.3. the club's indoor competitions are organized on Tuesdays during normal training shifts, so that 7-10-year-olds and 11-15-year-olds compete between 17:00 and 19:00. Both beginners and advanced group members can come and compete for the whole two hours, but it doesn't matter if you can only come for one hour.

Scoring takes place in the traditional way.

After the children, the adults get to play from 19:00 onwards. Even adults, regardless of age, size and belt rank. Everyone can try the match with their own level of resistance.

Everyone is welcome to the event. For our enthusiasts, indoor competitions are part of the normal training fee, others are charged a participation fee of 10 euros.

With the Sophia Junior Team at the camp in Madrid

taekwondoSophia Vassilaki trains for a week in Madrid. Emma Reiman from Loviisa, Eevi Huuskonen from Hwarang in Espoo and 3 athletes from Budokwai in Turku also participated in the camp from Finland.

Top level taekwondo

At the camp, the Finns get to train for two days together with the Madrid regional team at the Olympic training center (CAR). The regional team is of a very high standard, as it includes several medalists from big tournaments. In addition, the program includes a training tournament and training in a smaller group.

A taekwondo license is required for practicing and competing

EVERYONE WHO PRACTICES TAEKWONDO SHOULD BUY A LICENSE

Everyone participating in the activities of the Taekwondo Association (camps, competitions, etc.) must have a sports license.  Taekwondo athletes 2011 require a valid license from all participants in the belt exams. All enthusiasts are also recommended to purchase Pohjola's accident insurance when acquiring a license. License insurance is a comprehensive and safe choice. However, if you already have insurance that covers martial arts, you should get a license without Pohjola's insurance.

Even if you don't practice taekwondo, but you want to support Finnish taekwondo, you can get a support license.

WHAT KIND OF LICENSES ARE AVAILABLE AT $?

 

1. Children's license for those born on or after January 1, 2003

Price 15 EUR or with Pohjola accident insurance EUR 27.
The license includes the right to free competition. The children's license is also intended for those practicing the ITF style.

2. Youth license for those born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2002

The price is 35 euros or 75 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.

The license includes the right to free competition. The youth license is also intended for those practicing the ITF style.

 

3. Adult high school for those born on December 31, 1995 or earlier

 

a) Adult license

The price is 59 euros or 194 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.

The license includes the right to compete in both styles, in all series and competition formats.

 

b) Adult ITF licence
The price is 59 euros or 159 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance.
The license includes the right to compete in ITF competitions.

 

NOTE! One license is enough for participants in both style competitions (insurance should be a more expensive option).

 

4. Single License

The price is 35 euros or 60 euros with Pohjola's accident insurance,
This license is intended for participation in a one-time event of the Taekwondo Association (competitions, camps, etc.). The license is only valid for one, separately named event. The license does not include the Taekwondo magazine vintage. The one-time license is valid for 10 days from the moment of payment.

5. Endorsement License

The price is 25 euros.
This license is intended, for example, for family members of those who practice taekwondo or others who want to support the activities of the Taekwondo Association. In addition to the support membership card, the license also includes a subscription to the Taekwondo magazine mailed to your home.

    Check your personal information. Then choose your own club and the license that suits you. NOTE! When buying a support license, select "Support license" as the company.
  3. Adoption
    Check the information of your chosen license and familiarize yourself with Sporttiturva's product description and insurance conditions. The insurance terms must be accepted before proceeding to payment.
  4. Payment
    Pay either directly via the bank buttons or print/save the invoice. You must definitely use the reference number when paying!

During the spring, taekwondo athletes organize camps and indoor competitions at a close pace. In addition to these, we gather together for spring day (9.3.) and talkies. More of these closer to the events.

Indoor competitions are organized according to the familiar formula:

5:00 p.m. – approx. 7:00 p.m

Indoor competitions are free for those who train with a season contract in our club, the participation fee for others is 10 euros. No separate registration is required.

Spring taekwondo events: big camp, PM competitions and match league

The winter camp is organized on July 16-17. In Turku.
Taekwondo spring is full of events!

The spring season kicks off with the Nurmijärvi Junior Championships and continues until the summer, full of activities.

The competition season opens on February 2. In Nurmijärvi. The races are held in series E, D, C2, B, C1, H, S. You can register at Sampo, remember to enter your weight correctly!

 Olympic coach camps

Jesus Ramal organizes a series of camps during the spring. The first of these is 24.3.-31.3. In Turku. More information can be found, for example, on the association's website www.taekwondo.fi as long as the details are confirmed.

The PM competitions crown the spring

The PM competitions crown the spring on May 25. The competition is organized at the Kisakallio sports college in Lohja. You can join not only as a spectator, but also as a volunteer. Travel, food and accommodation are reimbursed for volunteers. Tell Sampo if you are interested.

International tournaments

Of course, international tournaments are also organized during the spring, in which our club's athletes participate. At least the Belgian Open is in the sights.

Kalajärvi taekwondo courses in full swing

Taekwondo athletes 2011 started basic taekwondo courses at the Kalajärvi school in Espoo this fall. Exercises are offered in two different groups, the picture shows 7-10-year-olds and 11-16-year-olds. All exercises are held on Thursdays in the big gym of Kalajärvi school, the younger ones practice from 16:30 to 17:30 and the older ones right after from 17:30 to 18:30. The courses are currently halfway through and the going is the best!Taekwondo | Espoo Kalajärvi

The courses continue until the end of November, when those who have completed the course take part in the belt exam. At the exam, the skills learned during the course are measured and all those who pass the exam are awarded a yellow belt. After completing the course, taekwondo training will be continued at the Konala gym in Helsinki and again at the beginning of the year at Espoo's Kalajärvi with a new course.
